Authenticate the MCP server with a service token
We've added service token authentication to the PlanetScale MCP server. You can now connect clients like Cursor, Claude, Codex, and OpenCode with a service token instead of signing in through the browser.
This will let you use the MCP server in CI and other headless setups where OAuth isn't an option. Grant the token only the permissions you want the tools to have.
