MCP server: Dedicated egress IPs
The PlanetScale MCP server now runs on a new platform, and its database queries leave from four dedicated IP addresses:
104.28.1.231104.28.1.232104.28.1.233104.28.1.234
If your Postgres database uses IP restrictions, add all four addresses so MCP queries can connect. Vitess databases need no changes, since the MCP server restricts its own short-lived passwords to these addresses.
Existing sign-ins keep working. If you run into issues, re-authenticate the MCP server in your client.
