PlanetScale vs Xata Benchmarks

We did not include Xata in our benchmarks when we originally launched PlanetScale for Postgres. However, Xata went ahead and published their own benchmark results along with the data we gathered from our thorough testing.

We believe what they published is misleading, particularly given that they tuned their instance to perform better under TPCC-like workloads. We requested access to their platform so we could run the benchmarks for ourselves. They declined to give us access.
